Allen Associates is delighted to announce that Managing Director, Scott Allen, has been appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde’s Department of Chemical & Process Engineering.

As a former alumnus, Scott has kept close ties with the university over the years, frequently lecturing to 3rd and 4th year students.  This new prestigious appointment will see the development of a more formal relationship between Allen Associates and the University.

Commenting on the position Scott Allen, said: “The University of Strathclyde has a world leading reputation in the field of Chemical & Processing Engineering and I am delighted to accept this invitation to take up the post of Visiting Professor within this prestigious department.

“I look forward to further strengthening my, and Allen Associates’, ties with the University and to continue to share our knowledge and experiences with future cohorts of Chemical Engineering students.”

The appointment, which will run for three years, comes on the back of a series of prestigious industry accreditations for the Stirling based company.  In 2015 Scott was awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) for his many contributions to the industry, and in the same year was named as an approved ESOS Lead Assessor via the Institute.
